What is the source of that chart btw?

Baton Rouge General. If you are talking about the one I posted.

Note that it ONLY accounts for cases serious enough to require hospitalization. Most people over 50 have gotten the vaccine. And you can see a clear trend that the elderly are avoiding the emergency room.

Why anyone under the age of 75 takes this vaccine is amazing to me.

I did on advice from my doc, I have an illness that damages the immune system.

People that post on this board are the exact demographic to be in their peak earning years AND being the primary breadwinner for their families. Not everyone can afford to stay at home until they don't test positive.

Many folks here wear a white collar to work which can be done from anywhere. Some even have benefits that include paid sick leave.

There are a lot of cases and hospitalizations but less deaths right now. Like most viruses they mutate to be more contagious but less deadly.

No reason to panick tbh

Losing smell and taste for weeks on end as a potential result of infection seems like something a 40 year old may want to avoid but that's just me. That would suck.

My son still can’t smell. He had it at Easter!

This is not true. Some random nurse on FB says kids are dying bc of Covid.

Wife and I got it because we (naively) believed Biden would lift the stupid goddamn Covid test to come back in to the US if you're vaccinated for our Costa Rica trip.

Yet here we are, still had to test even having been vaccinated.

And I wasn't really concerned anyway. I was in the Army. If I was going to have adverse effects to a vaccine, that shite would have happened years ago.
