I don’t give a shite!!!

If the business has a service I want and wants me to wear a mask I will put one on. If you are all in such pristine health as some claim to be, think of it as cardio or altitude training.

I’m in Texas though “wheels” says no mask mandate.

How does it feel to have jimmies in a constant state of rustle for 18 months? They must have calluses.

Government seems to be taking the same tact; punish those who got vaccinated because of the numbnuts who can't follow basic instructions and remain unvaccinated, leading to major stressors on our healthcare system (again).

Major stressors on our healthcare system like that same government letting millions of unvaccinated illegal immigrants across the border then loading them up and dropping them off by the bus load in different cities across the country? Those kind of stressors.

quote:

it absolutely is the government's business to mitigate public health risks

And doing stuff like the above gives me all the faith in the world in how good they are at it.

ETA I don’t care whether anyone is vaccinated or not, but the government can’t say unvaccinated people are the underlying issue for all this and then turn a blind eye to the surge of crossings at the southern border followed by the transplanting of them in our cities.

I got my second vaccination shot a few weeks ago so I wouldn't have to wear a mask at work. Last week, my liberal fricking employer changed their stance and stated that even vaccinated employees have to mask up again.

This whole frickery is nothing but goal posts being moved to suit an agenda.

So you just ignored the listed items that talk about hospitalizations and deaths?

BTW, when the original COVID was making its rounds, didnt 'few fell ill' apply then too? So that means if hospitals are more overcrowded now than then, despite vaccines and natural immunity at an all time highs, you dont question that the vaxxed are those filling up the beds?

Cuz those vax numbers are being reported elsewhere. In fact, explain this one
quote:

The data, published yesterday, revealed that there were nearly as many admissions of fully vaccinated patients as unvaccinated patients in Scotland’s hospitals last week.

In the week up to July 13 there were 603 hospital admissions for Covid, with most being nearly 100% fully vaccinated.

Its because the elderly were the first to get vaccinated. Their window of protection is wearing off. Which is exactly what the Pfizer CEO said recently
quote:

Ugur Sahin, BioNTech CEO, the company that helped develop the Pfizer vaccine, told the Wall Street Journal that "antibody levels are dropping seven months after immunization among some vaccine recipients.

I’ll start wearing a mask again when they stop these people who they know are Covid positive from crossing the southern border and being dropped off in our cities

I was expecting this, and I’m going to ignore the mask mandates. Did it when I was 2 weeks out after the second vaccine, I’ll do it again, and tell Karens to frick right off.

I don't even see any in the media besides the new vaccines.gov ad that show on youtube every second video. I'm talking about relatives and friends working in the medical field

My 17 yo kid had the 'Rona last March and was tested a couple weeks ago for the antibodies and still supposedly has them. He might have picked up the rona again in June, but we don't know, because he didn't have the symptoms.

Because why bother when you take quotes without sourcing or context?

Searching your quote, which I can't find.

quote:

NEW YORK (WABC) -- As the Delta variant fuels the latest surge in cases of COVID-19, there's new evidence that the protection the vaccines provide may be on the decline.

Ugur Sahin, CEO of BioNTech, the company that helped develop the Pfizer vaccine, told the Wall Street Journal that "antibody levels are dropping seven months after immunization among some vaccine recipients," but he added, "Most of them will remain protected against severe disease and might not need a third dose."

WSJ unfortunately I'm paywalled
quote:

BERLIN—Immunity against the coronavirus is waning in people who were fully vaccinated with the shot made by BioNTech SE and Pfizer Inc. in January because of the rapidly spreading Delta variant, BioNTech’s chief executive said, confirming data that emerged from Israel last week.

But even as antibody levels are dropping seven months after immunization among some vaccine recipients, most of them will remain protected against severe disease and might not yet need a third dose, according to Ugur Sahin, CEO of the German company..

Upsetting to be asked to wear a mask to protect people who are unvaccinated. I will not be wearing a mask. At this point, people are either too stupid to evaluate their own risk, or they don’t care. In either case, it isn’t my concern.

This is such a pitiful, hollow talking point. I was in Mexico last month and everyone was wearing masks, many even outdoors. Literally in the fricking jungle in a village and people were wearing masks. Additionally, there aren’t these hordes of infected people crossing the border illegally…they wouldn’t be able to make the trek while sick. Vaccination rates are low in Mexico, but if they’re unvaccinated then they’re no different than you idiots.

I keep seeing this…the “agenda” or the forced “conformity”.

What exactly is the agenda and, if conformity, what exactly is gained by mandating people wear masks or encourage a vaccine that doesn’t involve disease mitigation? Is it to laugh at us? I mean, what is this master plan?

I mean, sure, it sounds big bad and scary…but what exactly am I supposed to be scared of?

Most vaccines only work if there is enough of a critical mass of it, to beat down the virus spread, so it doesn't have chances to mutate.

We never reached that critical mass. As such, it's still better to have a shot than not have a shot... but it's not as effective as it could have been.

Oh well. Congrats, freedom in "Merica!
