I think that would be chaotic. I'm not talking about a private contractor building a bridge or a stretch of highway. But the entire road system. The planning, the upkeep, the coordination between cities, counties and adjoining states...

I don't doubt that we're dealing with massive waste in funds with the gov't system, but that's an entirely different topic.

I can keep to myself and not get the shot and it affects no one. I don't NEED to participate.

But if I want to take a car onto a public road, I need to meet the standards the gov sets, for all cars and drivers.

2 entirely different issues.

So are you against mandatory vaccination for polio and measles? Basically all vaccines because of choice.

Or do you just not think COVID isn’t bad enough.

Because it’s a pretty simple matter to figure out how vaccines are not just a personal issue.

If this were killing people at the rate those things were. In addition, each of those things went through some pretty lengthy trial periods whereas this is all emergency authorized but not officially approved.

Did you really just compare Covid to polio or the measles?

To date there are no proven vaccines for COVID-19 yet. So it is false to try to compare a true “vaccine“ which stops the virus in its tracks and keeps it from spreading versus what we have today, which are treatments. Treatments only.

If the standard for intrusion by govt is saving lives we should ticket obese people for their own good and to free up public services like hospitals. I'd say $5 a pound over ideal weight would do the trick.

I wear all my DOT approved seatbelts and have all my FDA approved vaccines. I don’t wear experimental seatbelts or take experimental vaccines.

We used to let people assess risk with education and experience. The punishment was in the result of noncompliance. Now we punish people for noncompliance.
