Actually, before, he was following the White House guidelines from Trump which suggested mandates

And as soon as the CDC changed their guidance, so did he. He will again. Enjoy the presser tomorrow

I'm not sure why your so hell bent on arguing. He's going to do exactly what he did before. Match the states guidance to the CDC, mandate masks, etc. When the CDC changes again, so will he
Exactly. He will match their guidance exactly with his guidance

You said the state already did. So he's going to have a presser to wave and say "told ya so?"

I didn’t realize his guidance was slightly different

Yes, he will update his guidance to match the CDC. Unlike your proclamation that he will be instituting mandates

Im saying his last update was days before the CDC's. Now that they changed again, he will enforce mandates, update policies for school, change recommendations for exposure for those vaccinated, etc just like i did all along.

Where his guidance does not match and isn't as strict as the CDC, he will match and announce mask mandates

So you are saying he will be more strict and add mandates instead of guidance

Got it

I disagree

State employees must get vaccinated. But won't require those on welfare to be vaccinated, due to their plight and difficulties.

Federal employees must get vaccinated but not people on federal welfare… the least educated and poor are least likely to get vaccinated according to the experts and science. Doesn’t seem like a hard problem to solve. Give the J&J vaccine to all the immigrants they are bussing in to Louisiana.

Trust me, I don’t want this to happen, but I’ve spoken to several people in the restaurant industry and they fully expect this to come down tomorrow.

If he does do 50% indoor occupancy lets hope restaurant owners have half a brain and tell him to go fuk himself. If restaurant owners stick together then this 50% goes out the window.

The percentage threshold is something that is easily predictable.

I can’t stand the guy but he’s been far from the most restrictive governor.

I lost every bit of respect I could possibly muster for the man when he stood in front of the people of Louisiana and told small business owners that were already suffering mightily from his Covid policies that if the state didn't take in enough money they were probably going to see their taxes go up to cover it. That was when I started saying "frick that slimy cocksucker."

So, frick that slimy cocksucker.

I agree, but they are sending bus loads of immigrants to Louisiana and then wonder why we have high numbers. JBE just got some cudo’s from Biden…Things that make you go …WTF?

frick your mandate. How are you going to “mandate” someone to do anything?

People will not be anywhere near as willing to “mask up” as last time.

Everyday businesses and restaurants are not the fricking airlines. Completely apples and oranges.

I bet you are totally fine with all the illegals coming to our state though. No issues there whatsoever.

WTF are you talking about? Seriously. Are you so pumped up on Florida Georgia Line and Coors Light that you're looking for an argument with someone who's making a prediction on what someone else might say?

1 - no Coors Light or Florida Georgia line for me.

2 - I am just tired as hell of people who seem to want “mandates” back, want to be shutdown, want to hide in their house forever, want to not work, etc. if that’s not you I apologize. But I am at the end of my rope with some of these people.
