I saved an arse pile of money from the first lockdown and put in a pool. I’m not playing by their stupid rules. If a business wants me to put on a face diaper to spend my money there then I’ll just go elsewhere. It’s got to end…….

People have not forgotten the hypocrisy nor the stress from this the first time.
I expect a much larger group of restaurants and small business going the firehouse bbq route

These people in these threads are practically begging for restrictions. I don’t get it.

And they disappear when nothing happens

They have been predicting more restrictions and more lockdowns since it all began

Who is our? The current guidance says there is no need for vaccinated people to mask up indoors, the new policy says different. Nobody is enforcing the policy for non vaccinated people to mask up so now everyone will have to

The day JBE leaves office in January 2024 will be like a cloudless sunrise after a rough and stormy night when a hurricane passed through.

State employees must get vaccinated.
But won't require those on welfare to be vaccinated, due to their plight and difficulties.

Incorrect...Louisiana lets school boards dictate their own mask mandates. The CDC recommends universal masking in school for teachers, students and staff.
Tomorrow, the mask mandate is back everywhere.
It will no longer be a recommendation here, it will be a mandate again.

Other differences are that Sloth currently says no quarantine is needed for exposure to covid by those vaccinated...CDC says otherwise, tomorrow, that changes

His mandates will mimic the CDC guidelines but since his last "update" was just out days before the CDC released theirs...now, he will catch up and mandate what they recommend not just recommend it himself

So you think Jbe will be more restrictive than the cdc?

He will mandate what they recommend, just like he did before

Actually, sloths guidance

quote:

All people should take a COVID test immediately after a known or suspected exposure to COVID-19. If positive, they should isolate immediately. If negative, they should retest again between five and seven days post-exposure. If they develop symptoms of COVID-19 at any point they should test and immediately isolate pending the results.

Go back to that link and read again..."At this time CDC advises that fully vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine following an exposure to COVID-19, and LDH is not yet altering this guidance."

ETA...the CDC changed its guidance, so will he

I'm not sure why your so hell bent on arguing. He's going to do exactly what he did before. Match the states guidance to the CDC, mandate masks, etc. When the CDC changes again, so will he

Actually, before, he was following the White House guidelines from Trump which suggested mandates

And surprisingly, JBE was less restrictive that Trumps White House mandate suggestions

I fully expect JBE to have guidance that mimics the CDC guidance for high infection areas

So whatever little tweaks to the guidance they need to be made will
