Statewide mask mandate for all regardless of vaccination status

50% indoor occupancy

Large indoor gatherings will be prohibited

Kicker ……. He will set a threshold for the states vaccination rate in order to ease restrictions.

Is it tomorrow? 2pm?

ETA: probably just more smacking, ‘we HAVE TO do better. We’ve done it 3 times, and I trust we can do it again.’ And more whining in general

I don’t see LA being the first state to go back to capacity limits

Trust me, I don’t want this to happen, but I’ve spoken to several people in the restaurant industry and they fully expect this to come down tomorrow.

I can’t stand the guy but he’s been far from the most restrictive governor. I just don’t see LA leading the charge on shutting things down again. There isn’t even any pressure from Washington to reduce capacity limits.

Almost everywhere is changing their mask mandates to follow the new CDC guidance, he will too.

Indoors, they will be required again

I don't want to be seen as piling on, but I see very few JBE voters expressing any sort of regret - especially those who crossed party lines to vote for him - twice.

And that is disturbing, because they must approve of this, then.
