took the MCAT 4 times in attempts to get into a Louisiana MD program and got a score after the 4th time that correlates to a 75th percentile rank (509 or top quarter) , yet the med school ad coms didn’t seem to care enough to still let me in after all of that trouble and 3 attempts. But when I got my score back that was as proud as I’ve ever been of myself because I spent months during quarantine trying to improve it. Also had a 3.95 gpa in biological sciences from LSU and graduated summa cum laude.

As a young teen, I was incredibly skilled at one particular style of combat in one particular shitty video game, and I was mildly famous within the game community for it. People would visit from other servers just to watch and challenge me because there were videos online of me whooping people's asses. This was pre-YT so videos had to be shared manually between people.
It made me feel like hot shite at the time, because I was young and love games, but looking back it's hilarious.

I played Santa Claus in a 4th grade play…yeah I was a fat kid….and memorized the entire Night Before Christmas in addition to my regular lines. When I finished the crowd applauded.

I, 5’8” white boy, once made a 15 foot jump shot over LSU All-American Rudy Macklin in a pick-up game. Mr. Macklin was still playing professionally with the Atlanta Hawks at the time.

I won the spelling bee three times in elementary school. Now I can’t spell anything.

Making a “ average joes” style comeback in a dodgeball tournament to launch us into the finals in undergrad . It was a hodgepodge of people who none of us knew each other , and a lot of people watching.
My team was decimated early , other team had 3 left, and it was just me. Plus the game was timed so I had little time left, went on a rampage and knocked everyone out with time on the clock to advance .
We sadly came up short in the finals to a bunch of football players but that was one of my personal highlights

Miserable GPA in high school. Really just did nothing but chase tail and play ball. Mom made me take the ACT and I got a 27.
Yeah it's no mid 30 score, but considering how blind I went into the test, Im still pretty proud.

Yeah, I didn't got to class for 6 weeks when I was a senior. I scraped by due to playing ball.
College GPA almost doubled my HS GPA.
I got a 27 ACT, my older brother and his two kids both scored 34-35.

I’m currently in training to achieve a goal of eating the 72 oz steak at the Big Texan in Amarillo. If all goes well, I think I get my name on their internet database and the meal is free. That would definitely be a worthy achievement.

In a high school football game, I made an interception, then a few plays later scored the go ahead touchdown. We ended up losing, but that sequence of plays was a rush!

I went dip net fishing in AK a few summers ago and caught 4 red salmon in one sweep. I’m pretty sure it’s not hard to do when they’re running, but I haven’t met anyone else that’s done it.

Senior year in high school I was voted hottest guy at our school by a group of girls.
Won the best WR award for the 8th grade going to 9th grade group at the LSU football summer camp back in the Saban years.

I dominated a school-wide chess tourney (including teachers at the end) of about 150-200ish participants in elementary. Followed up the next year by doing it again in middle school, albeit tougher competition. Also played some smaller regional tourneys for a couple of years before I went more heavily into the team sports route.
Some more experienced tourney folks told my parents I was a “prodigy” at the time, but I just never had the passion to truly pursue it further. I still play occasionally and remain quite good.
