Id bet ivermectin craze is because over 98% covid cases aren't severe to begin with, its a mostly a self-limited illness. sure someone may have subjectively gotten better with ivermectin but is it statistically different than say people who got covid that didnt even know they had it and got better, or people who had flu sx and got better? without better data and studies I assume ivermectin is closer to placebo level therapy vs legit efficacy. altho sometimes placebo is effective too and ivermectin is a very benign drug so why not?
some of the studies they spout off with claims of 100% prevention of mortality sounds waaaay too good to be true of a claim, which should raise suspicion. they do report data warranting a closer study of ivermectin therapy/prophylaxis. they did mention a perspective of a systematic incentive to disallow its approval for covid in order for vaccine emergency approval. this is a less nefarious but realistic approach to navigate the medico-legal realm.
either way with as benign and cheap as ivermectin is, even if its only placebo therapy why not give patients some agency? also as a side benefit it would kill off some human round worms

Well I can tell you this from first hand experience. The Wife attended a Church Camp as the Camp nurse. While there she contracted Covid. After getting home besides me getting it another 7 people from our local church got it. ONE OF THESE WAS AN ELDERLY LADY THAT HAD BEEN FULLY VACCINATED. All of these folks were provided Ivermectin, Hydroxy, and the other meds and vitamins in the FLCC PROTOCOL. All of these people are fine today. We later found out that a 31 year old youth pastor that was at the church camp but from a different church was admitted to the hospital on the same day my Wife tested positive. Regretfully this 31 year old youth pastor is dead today and I can’t confirm it but highly doubt he was provided any of the meds in the FLCC protocol!!

I was receiving conflicting instructions.
One med tech was telling me < 90 extended was warning, another said < 80 immediate
O2 sat < 92%-94% is concerning and reason enough to start oxygen. An O2 sat < 88% it's time to start BiPap or CPAP. Even with the happy hypoxic trend if I see an O2 sat < 80% and it does not improve then I am getting ready to intubate and hook your arse up to mechanical intubation unless you have a DNI.

One concern with Ivermectin right now is that it may neutralize the vaccine if you take it while on Ivermectin, but it is absolutely ridiculous that we haven't tried this on a wider scale and done a better job of studying it.
It's downright appalling and unacceptable that people aren't even allowed to talk about it.

theres much less data or even theoretical reasoning to support this than ivermectin being therapeutic for covid. that is basically stoner theory of ivermectin-vaccine relationship. its much less legit of a concern than being anti-covid vax.

it should be studied and acceptable for discussion, but the data does not support widespread usage just yet. docs are expected and legally held to standards of evidence based medicine mostly bc government, but also because its good practice. had there not been recent increased scrutiny on physicians by the gov im sure there would be more cowboy practices

Eh. Ivermectin is already proven to be safe. There's really no reason not to deploy it to areas that don't have vaccines, or to people who refuse to take the vaccine and then track outcomes.
We're losing trillions of dollars and many lives due to COVID-19. We're not being very thoughtful or comprehensive in our response.

How can you have studies if the WHO, CDC, and / or NIH won’t allow them?

just because its safe does not mean it has efficacy. smiling is safe, but that doesnt mean it will help against covid. how would you feel about your doctor when you broke your ankle and they suggested you try smiling, because it is proven to be safe after all... smiling has just as much support to fix fractures as it does covid.

there's really no reason not to deploy smiles to areas without vaccines, or those who refuse vaccines and track outcomes. its proven to be safe anyway.

you wouldn't support deploying smiles to people dying of heart disease because we are losing money on heart disease! if you were thoughtful and comprehensive regarding evidence based medicine you would acknowledge the fact that smiles and ivermectin are equivalent covid therapy. I get that doctors wanting evidence is lame and folks wanting to try unproven therapies, but thats just how it is. as of now your doctor is equally justification to prescribe you 3 smiles a day for 5 days as they do ivermectin.
thats not to say ivermectin/smiles couldn't be of benefit there just isnt support for either therapy yet and it isnt unreasonable for docs to not widespread prescribe smiles bc its safe. they dont want to be the jackass prescribing smiles for a broken foot.

This is actually really good that he is tackling issues the Left hates. Not letting them live in their echo chamber.

Covid is kicking my arse as we speak. 102 degree fever for almost 24 hours. It will dip down to 100 or so for an hour maybe, then shoot back up. Nasal drainage and cough. Difficulty swallowing. Taste buds are all screwed up. I haven’t had a test, but why bother? My daughter tested positive and I started feeling bad a day or so later. I’m a puss when it comes to running fever. I’d like for this to clear up as soon as possible.
Well...I wasn’t expecting this. My fever broke last night. Woke up soaked in sweat. I mean soaked. I ran fever constantly for 36 hours. Hopefully it is gone...hopefully!
Has anyone else experienced this? Everything I’ve read is the fever is constant until it isn’t, then you’re good. Anyone else lose the fever only to have it come back? I feel weak, but much more “normal”. The cough is very productive and seems like it’s working itself out. I still have a slight headache, but nothing like yesterday. Taste and smell are diminished, but a little stronger.

I, a 31 year old male with no underlying health conditions, has over a 99.8% chance of survival. From a risk perspective, I’ll take my chances with COVID over a vaccine that has no studies on long term side effects.
