Top 5 are no doubters

Maybe swap out Jason Williams for Brandon Larson. Pretty sure he’s top 5 in most hitting categories in school history, or was when he left

Ben McDonald was a physical freak but if I wanted to win a game there are easily 5 LSU pitchers I’d take first. Not hating, he’s among my 5 favorite broadcasters and had ridiculous pitching skills, just saying.

DJ LeMahieu ???

Aaron Hill is one of the all time greats that gets overlooked everytime a list comes out

Top 10 or all time lists are hard to create because everyone has an opinion

Aaron Nola too low.

He easily above Bregman (did they forget Bregman’s sophomore year?).

And Furniss should be ahead of Bregman as well.

Walker/Furniss should probably be 1/1a.

So many good pitchers to choose from.

Mahtook and Duplantis shouldn't be top 50.

There is no way anybody's top 10 list will be the same. Too many great college players played @ the Box thru the years. Top 5 I can understand. Once you get past that 5, there are just too many Top 10 finalists to name just 5 of them.

The order of this is suspect as frick. Bregman was good but he never had close to the numbers or accolades to compare. He gets too much love simply because of his talent.

1. Todd Walker
2. Ben McDonald
3. Aaron Nola
4. Eddy Furniss
5. Blake Dean
6. Alex Bregman
7. Brad Cresse
8. Ryan Patterson
9. Kevin Gaussman
10. Mikie Mahtook

I feel like Russ Johnson is criminally underrated on these lists. Todd walker is unanimously top 3, and Russ was neck and neck with him most of his career. Even had better numbers in some areas, set the season high BA record that stood for about 20 years, both all americans but never got the hype that Walker did. And he's overshadowed on all time teams at SS by Brandon Larson who was pretty juiced up and hit all the HRs.

Brad Hawpe is another often underrated Tiger that could be considered for this list.
