One of my colleagues (white, early 30s) lives on Illinois street near that Walgreens. Wondering what would have happened if he had stepped outside for food or supplies right as the cops were around that night. The media would have destroyed him in the day or two it took for police to realize it was all bullshite.
Then again, it was bitterly cold and 2AM. Who on earth would be wondering around outside?
