Hollywood has officially run out of ideas now. The last great memory of our childhood is getting a new look.

Reboot in Alabama

I will always be hung up on Winnie Cooper.

Lulz. Why create something that has a black identity when you can take can take a classic white supremacist show and turn it black?

I’ll never hate in a show with Dule Hill.

I will never let go of the torch I carried for Winnie Cooper.

My crush on Debbie Gibson might've been shattered by the stupid shite she did as an adult, but Winnie Cooper's flame burns eternally.

I bet it will at least have some damn good Motown music in it.

Not that I care about the 60's. It was a shitty decade and not my childhood, but the Wonder Years was actually funny. I get the feeling that this one is just going to be preachy, like everything else.

I don't see a problem with this.

Sorry if I didn't give the knee jerk ' THIS SUCKS!' reaction some of y'all were expecting. I think it makes sense , because the whole theme of the 'wonder years' is about that part of our lives , for all of us, not just some middle class white kid, but all kids, in that coming of age time of our lives.

Didn't they basically already do this with Everybody Hates Chris? It's basically the same concept.

Yikes. It's going to have a hard ER at the end? Not Wonda?

I preferred Cara (the girl at the lake), Madeline, and Susan Fisher.

Anyone watch this one yet? From the reviews I've read, it seems to be as I expected - the Critic score on RT is near 100% while the audience score is near 50%...that's usually a tell tale sign.

I've ragged on current Hollywood's lack of originality lately, but I don't hate this idea.

That doesn't mean this new series will be awesome, it may very well be flat out terrible. However, I'm a general fan of the idea. The Wonder Years are in all of us. And should be. Every person has that sweet spot of their lives, that period growing up where life seems strange , magical, and harshly real, all at the same time.

Hope this does the original series justice.
