Went on his Twitter last night and had to stop reading all of the well-wishers, I was starting to tear up.

Dad was diagnosed a few months back. Rough news. Will include CMR in my prayers.
Glad to know he is a man of faith, there is nothing more important than that.

Man, I hate to hear this. He's a great guy who always put God, Family, and Country first.

So sorry to hear this. Does anybody here know what symptoms you would have at the beginning of this disease? I think something is wrong with my SIL but she won't go to Dr. She is crazy to begin with.

Fair enough. Like I said I usually care less about up/down votes but that one triggered me. Mark Richt is a great, Christian man who doesn't deserve this. But as always he's showing absolute class and humility.

I have noticed there is two down votes pretty quickly on any thread that has anything remotely in it that is standard American values, especially if it is anything considered conservative or religious.

This is pretty sad, doubly so because I remember well when Richt was the hot young coach- probably circa 2001? Doesn't feel like that long ago, and here we are.

I think a lot of folks forget how he orchestrated that FSU no-huddle offense. I was surprised that he was less willing to innovate once he got to Georgia.

Lost my mom to Parkinsons last year after a long battle. This is one of Gods cruel little jokes. My mom went from a sweet, southern lady to a mean, cursing, hateful b@&ch. I feel for Coach of course. But his family will need lots of prayers and support as it takes it toll on those that have to live with this disease daily
