Mikey Romero is a top recruit that decommitted from Arizona to follow coach Johnson to LSU. Think his primary position was SS but that doesn't mean much. Zach Watson played short in HS and converted to CF at LSU

Cool. He's going into his senior year in high school so his impact on the current roster is nil.

That makes no sense. He knows if they add Berry the chances of him being in the lineup dwindle

Sometimes the relationship is so sour it makes you hate everything about your current situation and you’re not happy anymore. I have a feeling not much good has come from his time in BR, baseball or otherwise.

We haven't added Berry yet. We don't know what Johnson's plans are for the infield yet, with or without Berry. If Johnson wants Arnold to stay, he'll stay.

Not surprising. If the Berry transfer happens, someone was going to be the odd man out

because they’re morons who think every freshman should look like Alex Bregman in his last year at LSU

Other than Jack Merrifield or possibly Connor Simon...Jordan Thompson is LSU's most likely SS next year, I don't get the hate for him.

I thought Thompson more than handled himself defensively at SS this season
When you play on a grass field all year and then for regionals and super regionals on turf fields it is a lot different on those surfaces. The ball gets to you much quicker and the hops are different as well. It's an adjustment and I think that was a big reason for some of his throwing struggles on the turf fields.

I mean they prob already talked. He can’t guarantee him playing time. I think that’s becoming pretty clear

this is what it’s going to come down to. Everyone wants all these transfers to come in but also not lose any of the their current favorites.

Someone is going to be the odd man out and that’s not even taking into account the scholarship situation. Id be surprised if Cranford or Safford are getting anything.

I don't know why I bite, but I do. Who exactly do you think he's guaranteeing playing time to? He's guaranteed a starting 9 already?

Crews, Morgan, (hard to figure who would trigger the rant more Bianco or Milazzo )

I mean the whole infield is pretty much set. You’re adding Berry, Joubert, Simon & Merrifield,

Arnold can walk in & start at a bunch of places. But not the new LSU

Players aren’t going to stick around & “battle” for spots when they can start other places. Sorry but Arnold wants to see his options. He’s not doing it because he is mad at PM still.
