No looking it up obviously.

In 2003, Nick Saban secured the #3 overall recruiting class in the nation.

In that class, we had 3 WRs. Two of those were Buster Davis and Dwayne Bowe. They were the 2nd and 3rd highest rated WR in that class for us.

Who was the top WR we signed?

Once someone gets it, feel free to post your own question...

I looked it up bc I had no idea and absolutely would not have gotten it.

Won’t spoil for others though

Def Amp Hill, right?

And he had a ton of talent, made it to the league on a practice squad at least I think. Would've had a longer career without injuries, had terrible knees.

Trivia.

Which TE-turned-OT hoisted Nick Saban in the air when the won the championship?lilNicky was not really thrilled to being manhandled like that.

Amp Hill in that class. Early Doucet would have been the next class I believe.

ETA: rumor was we turned away Robert Meacham on signing day too.

Amp Hill was the highest rated receiver of that class.

I cannot think of the receiver's name, but he was from California, and later transferred out.
