I love how to be anti-vaccine, you have to have no idea how vaccines work.
No vaccine makes you have a forcefield against a virus. All of them train the body to be able to react quicker to the bug and clear it either before getting sick or by reducing the symptoms and effects.
Of course, most of you are not idiots like Pirate Queen, but not understanding the realities of vaccines just proves you can’t have a valid argument for your reasoning.
If you want to say the vaccine doesn’t do enough for you to merit getting it, fine, but stop acting like just because people catch the virus after the vaccine means it failed.

You don’t test positive for flu after getting the vaccine, do you? So it’s either a flaw with the vaccine or a flaw with the test.
I like how many people upvoted your first post, only to downvote this one and realize you have no idea what you’re talking about scientifically

Yet Vandy avoids testing bc their entire team is Vaccinated...
It'd be great if they found out the NC State players got it from Vandy players.

This is the problem with over sensitive PCR tests and testing asymptomatic people.
If you were exposed there will be viral multiplication (the virus still gets inside you), the idea is the vaccine stops the disease (I.e. symptoms) and spreading the virus to others because you kill it before you start shedding it in mass.
How dare you bring reasonable scientific explanations of epidemiology onto the MSB! Shame!

Gasp…you mean to tell me that that you still get covid with the vaccine?!
If you knew how vaccines worked you would have already known this…people still can get the flu with the flu shot. It’s to teach your body how to fight the virus. So it isn’t caught off guard and figures it out when it’s too late. This vaccine is not a cure it’s a cheat code to help your body fight it. But it doesn’t matter you still will be ignorant.

That isn’t the story here.
Getting the vaccine, and then still being punished is the story.
The stance of the NCAA is moronic.
My question is, why get a vaccine if you have had Covid previously. It seems as though that component is missing from any and all legislation.

First off this site out of all should know this doesn’t mean shite.
Second, it’s on Twitter so it must be true. This board will roll with it cause it fits their agenda.

I’m not surprised that you can barely type out a coherent sentence, but I’ll lay this out for you:
In 2020, we shut down the entire world “for two weeks” over a virus that was supposed to kill 10% of the populations in order to “slow the spread”- but oh yea, every Walmart, gas station, convenience store, and restaurant was packed to the fricking gills with business and the lockdowns were pointless from an effectiveness standpoint.
When the numbers started to come out and it became apparent that the virus wasn’t nearly as deadly as they claimed, the goalposts shifted from “stop the incoming death wave” to “completely stop the spread of the virus which most people don’t even realize they have because it’s so mild for 99.5% of the population”.
The people who feel that they need to be vaccinated can now get their vaccine and have zero risk, so why are we shutting down the NCAA tournament again?
There’s no logic involved in any of this, and the effectiveness of the vaccine isn’t what’s in question. It’s the repeated overreach by our governing bodies to “stop the spread”, which the vaccine isn’t effective at doing, when every “at-risk” individual is no longer at risk if they choose not to be. How do you not see this?
Anyone who still takes Muh COVID seriously is a mouth-breathing, drooling wannabe moron who can’t think for themselves.

Because Corona virus immunity is known to be short-lived from naturally developing it following infection. This is an issue with all Corona viruses not just Covid-19.
The vaccine trains your body more robustly with focus on one target (spike protein), thus it doesn’t dilute the antibodies developed amongst a bunch of targets like when your body trains against the virus itself.
Again, the vaccine will reduce the likelihood of transmission but not eliminate it. That is why reasonable precaution even after the vaccine is recommended. Instead, the CDC and the admin decided to try and manipulate hesitant people to get it by magically claiming the vaccine allows back to normal.
Most of these players from NC State will likely be fine from this, but there is a risk of spreading mg it to more and more people. That is why they are being yanked from the tournament.

Yet teams from different parts if the country are traveling around spreading it.
Seems the NCAA isn't taking it that seriously. They would just not have the tournament. It's about $$$
