Sad if that's the case. I'm not a hypocrite and going to say I've never done it, but years ago I intentionally stopped looking at my phone altogether. It's just not worth it, nothing. If it's an emergency, pull over and get on your phone.

I remember when they had fricking cattle guards on I-12 exits in St. Tammany. The fact that there are now license plate readers instead makes me want to kidnap and torture a letter carrier.

I have my phone connected to Bluetooth in my car. If I get a text, it immediately responds with “I’m driving, can’t talk right now”. If you call, i press a button and go hands free. It’s so much safer

Agreed it’s a crappy situation all around but it’s not like she was innocent in causing her own death. Vanity killed her at the end of the day. Tragic of course.
