I cannot believe it took four pages on the OT for someone to say this. What happened to the whole OT Baller persona?

My SO sometimes comes in from work at 6am and it never fails the yard people show up or the city is drilling holes into the ground or whatever

No worries. So once the alarm is set off we’re dispatched and they're not turning us around. Most times they’ll tell us the alarm company is attempting to cancel while we’re headed there. We still have to make contact with the owner.

Good to know. I was kinda glad to know my system works and response time was impeccable. Gave me a sense of comfort

Sure don’t. Have no clue.

I like to sleep in on Saturdays when I don’t have anything specific to do. But I wouldn’t tell my neighbor when to cut his grass. That’s definitely a pussy move.

wasn't bad. It clumps a bit, but dries. As long as the grass isn't really deep, it exits the mower just fine. Sure beats mowing at noon
What is amusing in these threads are the guys who claim it is unmanly and pussified to sleep past 6 or 7 AM on a weekend but then claim they cut grass early to avoid the heat of late morning. Who is the pussy in that scenario?

Yeah I work 2nd shift at a plant so I get off work mostly at 1230A, sometimes later up to 430A, but rarely. Fortunately my neighbors aren't aholes like OP and try to mow at 7A as if their work schedule is the only schedule in the world.

With that said I consider 9am a reasonable start time for anyone to be out there mowing. I also play music (musician) and like to play late and keep that noise level respectable, but my work schedule means I'm just awake until 1 or 2AM. If I were OP, I'd go full Spinal Tap and crank things up to 11 because hey, frick my neighbors right? Their work schedule doesn't align with mine. Or, I could be a decent human being and turn the amp down to a reasonable practice level and put silencer pads on my drum kit so I can practice at late hours and not wake anyone up.

Mowing with dew on ground is not the proper way

Oh, I'm sure you go mow your grass at 2p just so you can show those pussies who can take that heat. Yeah, that will teach em.

If youre pussed out over someone mowing at 7a, you shouldn't be living around other people.

I basically sleep 5-6 hours a night on weekdays. I stay up late on Fridays and sleep until I wake up on Saturday which is if I’m lucky 8am. I’d never complain to my neighbor though, I’d just buy a top fuel dragster and “tune” it at all hours of the night until he got the picture…

Even ballers know landscapers don't cut the lawn or care for the garden as well as they can themselves. I started doing it on my own when three consecutive companies either scalped the lawn or took chunks out of my fence or stupidly deadheaded the Crepe Myrtles, etc.

I usually mow around 11 once the grass is dry.

Nobody does that in my neighborhood. We have considerate neighbors.

My previous question and amusement still stands.

Exactly. I use the time to cut the grass to sweat and get exercise. I don’t do it at 12 noon but I don’t mind waiting till 5 and getting a good sweat in.

Cutting the grass at 7 when the grass is all wet adds more work. You have to clean all the wet grass that’s stuck to your mower and the blower doest blow wet grass that’s stuck to the sidewalk and street. Plus cutting wet grass is just messy as frick

I don’t know anyone that does this, unless someone stays back.
Here’s a secret, they don’t have keys, so if it’s running take off in it. Those news stories are always entertaining.
