His postseason results are average. His recruiting is average. He’s never produced the level of consistency that a coaching job like LSU really demands. In spite of all of those things, what makes him such a compelling candidate to you?

How do you respond to the fact that he’s been at Ole Miss for two decades and yet no one has poached him away?

I’m seriously curious

I don't like that he wears sunglasses and I can never see his eyes.

He produced Drew Bianco.

That's his only qualification, in my opinion.

It's Skip and reliving the past, but living a mediocre present, and that's fine with them.

He’ll contend for an SEC tourney championship and get us to the Supers.

This is the same group of people that wanted to keep Miles and Mainieri around. They love mediocrity and underachieving. Bianco feeds their need for it.

The only possible positive I can come up with is that he would maybe at least be able to stop the downward trend of the program as it stands. But beyond that, it would just be an incredibly lazy and uninspiring hire. He's had ample opportunity and resources to work with to take the next step with Ole Miss and never has.

True or False: Would Mike Bianco be a candidate for the LSU job if he werent a former LSU player?

I think we all know the answer.

people keep saying Ole Miss doesn’t have the resources but Ole Miss commits the 5th most amount of money to their baseball program in the country. such a shite take.

An LSU guy would never leave. He knows the program and has proven he can win in the SEC. Some of the other candidates don't have that going for them.

I won't melt if he is or isn't hired. There are 3-4 coaches that I think would be great at LSU and he is one of them. Melting over any candidate, other than Casey, is a terrible look.

- Successful at a mediocre school
- Ex-LSU guy
- Recruits well
- Understands SEC from both a coaching and player's perspective.
