he had a very successful first year start.

The pitching coach Henderson and having Mangum and Rooker on the roster was reason for his successful first year. Retaining Henderson for year 1 was part of the deal when he took the job. Andy did chose to keep Henderson for year 2 and Henderson took a team that barely made the SEC tournament to one game away from making the CWS Championship.

Kentucky never should have fired him. Especially not for that fruitcake they have now.

Henderson is taking over Utah now for the guy that just retired from there.

Out of this:
quote:

Asst coaches will be Cannizzaro, Blake Dean, Jeff Willis, Javi Sanchez, K Lady, and Mainieri staying on staff to be in charge of pitching changes.

you thought the unlikely thing was:

lol if you think Willis is taking an assistant job.

Yea that little rugrat assistant from Miss St. that was yelling at Blake Dean when he was catching a pop up at first.....he rode of off Henderson's coat tails in his first year and it has been a steady decline ever since.

bc he's being selective with his career moves as it regards his family. it isn't difficult.

I still think the hold up is because Virginia is still playing. I think if Scott wanted Paul's opinion, I think O'Conner would be what Paul would tell him. I think all these random names being thrown around like, like Pat Casey, was smoke to make sure Virginia didn't get distracted. No matter if he gets it or not, I would bet money he gets/got an interview

IMO I really believe it's Vitello. It would be a great choice if it is!

Well if O’Connor is indeed still in the mix, they gonna need a couple more days of smokescreen(s) because they’re going to Omaha now

Paul has praised him for years. Especially in 09 when we went up against them in Omaha.
