We have no one to bat at the bottom of the order. 0-10 tonight for the 7,8,9 guys. You don’t win supers with that production

Well if he leaves Hilliard in on Doughty throws to first the game would be tied and we could have won.

Sure, but pulling a hot pitcher for no apparent reason just to give up 3 runs and then relying on a pathetic 7-9 hitters is no winning strategy
