Paul is retiring so please stop bitching about him for tonight. He did not make any bad decisions tonight. Everyone that thinks Hilliard should’ve stayed in should look up his stats when batters see him for a third time. I was torn bc of how good his lady inning was but agree with Coleman starting a clean inning as a freshman. It just sucks that Doughty had a brain fart. It’s not like Coleman came in and they rocked him.
It’s funny reading the posters that have obviously just started watching. All season we haven’t had a dh or 7-9. Not saying that’s not Paul’s fault but it’s not like this just started happening. There’s a reason why we barely made post season. And there’s also a reason why we made a super as a 3 seed. Just sit back and try to enjoy and root for success. We are playing with house money. We have marceaux tmw so you never know!

Exactly. So you leave Hilliard in until his pitch count gets over the set amount or he starts struggling (ex.walk batters).
But he didn’t get that same respect. He struggled in the 4th, but owned them in the 5th. He deserved to start the 6th.
