Crime seems to be up everywhere

I'm in Colorado Springs right now and the locals have been complaining about OOC crime. Granted this means a shooting every week which is nothing compared to BR or Nola. Car break-ins seem to be happening daily though.

I hate police brutality with a passion but this type of thing is an expected consequence of neutering your police force and making it fairly public and obvious that you have done so. Purely anecdotally speaking from the experiences of family in law enforcement, it seems police are leaving the force or just not responding to calls with the same fervor.

I went back to louisiana to get a car I owned and some of my belongings ($2000 Amp head, a Les Paul, Flying V, ESP E-II Horizon, a Neo Geo AES + games)in my back seat.
Girlfriend rode along and thought we were going to stop in San Francisco, park on the street and then walk a few blocks to shop for a few hours.
None of that happened, and I took the argument instead of the loss.

We have a sheriff come through town every few days. No one locks their doors or even attempts to keep their shite under supervision. At worst, people drive drunk. Montana is the fricking tits.
