No again. Putin personally paid for the re-burial in Russia of White émigré nationalists Ivan Ilyin, Ivan Shmelev, and General Anton Deniken.

That is about the most Un-Soviet thing you could do.

outside of the cold war, the US and Russia have been allies (i.e. both world wars.)

The guy who broke the Clinton/Lynch tarmac story just "committed suicide". How many people connected to the Clintons have died mysteriously? The United States government is full of mega-murderers.

Some of you people forget how much your government lies to you. Some of you forget that elections are NOT free and fair here in America. And you act as though the propaganda being fed to you about Putin is IRON clad factual, as though the NY Times and CNN would never lie to you.

And how could you dare to criticize a lack of democracy in Russia when our "democracy" is so manipulated by big tech, big media and the deep state.

The days are OVER where we can talk down to other countries about human rights. And you know what? That makes all our military efforts this century suspect, because we cannot trust what we are told and we cannot understand the true motives of our own leadership.

No, there is an agenda here, and you saw what happened to Trump when he disregarded it. Suddenly, "free elections"
were no longer sacrosanct; not if they interfere with the agenda that the cabal has decided on.

I would rather have a benevolent dictator than a fake republic run by Corporations and out of control bureaucrats.

So yes, I like Putin, and I question how he is portrayed. But not because I know better. But because I know we are increasing lied to and manipulated.

But some of you swallow whole the whole narrative that the Americans and British pedal. Do you not understand that these same people call you white supremacists and Nazis? And they advocate monitoring your speech and classify you as a hate group or domestic terrorist if you dare speak out.

There's a lot of narrative baked in, I agree.

I was born and raised in Israel and we treated Putin much the same way. Very much a collector of power and a relic of sovietism.

Israel's relationship is cautious but open. There's no trust there.

Now you might argue that all of western media has polluted that thought, but it's also common in Africa and western Asia.

It has both

I was fascinated by Russia. It was both alien, and familiar. I've spent a lot of time in France, much of my family lives there. But I don't love France, and I would never live there.

Russia, I would live in Russia. There is something about the way the Russians recognize the humanity in each other. People are open hearted, and honest. And they will not do something that effects you, without talking to you about it.

It's hard to articulate, but I distinct impression that I was always someone to the people I spoke with.

In New York City, people put up emotional walls, until they become islands of one. Russians are the opposite.

Russians are also very traditional. Men are still men, and women are (usually) still ladies.

Put it another way ...

Let's throw out western media. Why are Putin's only friendly countries not in the old block socialist south American countries? China is distrustful. North Korea is distrustful. Eastern Europe is distrustful but under his thumb.

This isn't just a narrative.

I'm reminded of the Ali quote, "No Viet Cong ever called me "n#$&_$r!" Well no Russian ever called me deplorable.

Ill not let these focks tell me who to like and not like. And I'll not believe their B.S. as long as they believe in Truth only when it suits some narrative.

I was in Boston for work once and took a cab driven by a Russian man. Someone in the cab asked about Putin and the guy spent the whole cab ride talking shite abt him. It was illuminating.

Two years later and I'm in Moscow. I ask a few people their thoughts on Putin and ... dead, awkward silence. Sudden talkative natures just shut down. It was the creepiest thing I've ever seen.

But that quote was specifically about going to war with them. Ali didn't say he liked the north Koreans, just that he had no reason to fight them.

His ambition, determination and indifference to outside opinion are in some ways admirable but make no mistake, he’s a ruthless sociopath who would burn us to the ground in an instant if he thought he could get away with it.

Putin is a murderous dictator who has the luxury to say whatever he wants about America politics whether he truthfully believes it or not. He simply sees an opening (that we have created albeit) to create further divide and weaken the US domestically since they've never been able to keep up with us militarily. I don't blame him and I think it's an intelligent move, but he is an enemy and always has been. I do not believe currently he is as big of an enemy to America as the insane left in our own country, but an enemy nonetheless.

Hell they've asked to join NATO. We say no. The West is who more or less causes Russia to be an "enemy". And personally I think they're more of a competitor than a true "enemy" as it currently stands.
