Just came here to say that you're entitiled to your opinion, but your full of shitaki mushrooms.
Those ads plastered on every square inch of available space are public eyesores and totally destroys the aesthetics of LSU Athletic Venues.
Have one big digital advertising board and scroll em on and off all during pre-game and in-game breaks.
NO tacky static ads anywhere............
Well the New York Yankees dont seem to think they are public eye sores. Its unique to LSUs stadium and gives it an identity. Sometimes I find all these stadiums look all the same with no ads. Just universal and blah.
There are definitely problems with Alex Box........like the bleachers down first and third baselines to name one but I dont think the ads are one.

Avg batting
Strong power numbers
This thread isn't to argue over things such as what you posted above....but you couldn't be more wrong.
It seemed to translate just fine in Hoover Met which is 340 down the lines, 385 in the alleys, and 405 in center. TD is 335 down the lines, 375 in the alleys, and 408 in center. (Arkansas started the SEC Tourney throwing mid-week guys).
Arkansas leads the nation in walks and gets quality at bats from every kid in the lineup from the top down. The #9 hitter in the lineup was MVP of the SEC Tourney. I don't know how much more balanced a team can be.
The batting average looks average because of the pitching Arkansas has faced all season long. Arkansas has played 61 games this season and 38 of those have been against Quad 1 competition. 56 total games have been played against Q1 and Q2 competition. Quite possibly, the hardest schedule in a team has had historically and remained #1 for as long as it has.
Comparatively speaking, South Carolina has the #2 SOS in the nation and has only faced 41 Q1 & Q2 teams. LSU has the #4 SOS in the nation and has only faced 40 Q1 & Q2 teams.

1 pitcher in Kopps. Commentators were laughing that he’s 12-0 with 11 saves and hasn’t started a game this year. He threw 190 pitches over 4 days in last week’s regional.
He threw 186 and his dad and himself have spoken to this and made clear they are fine with it, and Kevin knows his body better than anyone else. Van Horn specifically state last week in a press conference that he wanted to get Kevin after 40 pitches, but Kevin insisted he was fine and wanted to keep going out.
You can state Arkansas has one pitcher all you want, but Arkansas as a team has the 3rd best ERA in the league at 3.74...Has lost a starter in the last three weeks due to injury and yet the staff keeps plugging away. Wicklander and Lockhart are two very good lefties and the 3rd game is pieced together by one of the best young prospects in college with Wiggins.

They won’t win in Omaha.
Arkansas may not win Omaha...but I know this...Not a single team has managed to beat Arkansas twice this year. That includes 10 teams(total of 24 games) that hosted a Regional and that includes 7 teams who are playing in Super Regionals(total of 17 games). So I like our chances...

Hawgeye, IMO Arky checks all the boxes except pitching depth. If yall do lose out that will be yalls undoing. Great team for sure and Arkansas is one of the favorites to win the whole thing.

Pitching depth is everyones concern this time of year, obviously. Outside of the starters, there are still 9 guys in the bullpen who have shown they can be trusted over the course of the SEC Tourney and Regional weekend. Noland getting over his injury and having two quality outings his last two weeks bodes well for the staff with the loss of Pallette. Vermillion is back this weekend from his arm issues and adds depth. He actually has the two longest outings of the year by any Arkansas starter. 8 innings against LaTech and 8 against Alabama.
Having around 10 guys that can be relied upon pitching is a luxury IMO. Watching Texas Tech game yesterday and listening to the commentators about only having about 2-3 guys for both Stanford and Tech who can be trusted out of the pen, makes you realize how thin a lot of staffs are around the nation. Same with NC State...commentators stated last night they only have 2 quality arms that come out of the pen.

Back on the topic...I think the advertising at Baum is just not as noticeable because everything is blended together. The green wall with only white lettering makes everything blend together.
I think you guys could do something like that, just to blend things in and not have 75 different colors along the outfield wall.

LSU baseball would never lose a NC on a pop up. Our boys come through in big moments to clinch Titles

Total agree… instead we get the yellow pages.
But hey if your looking for a good proctologist heck the left center field ally

It gives the Box a minor league stadium feel.

The good thing about the Box is the things that could be better are mostly relatively cheap to fix. Question is why LSU hasn’t done it. Not like they haven’t put money into the Box in recent years.

Start with the hefty bags we have for a batters eye…. That’s terrible
Posted on 6/12/21 at 7:03 pm to Ampipe96
If it was they would have won game two but apparently the stadium is not all that good.

To watch these SRs, it really is not even close..
Baum and Dudy Noble totally outclass the New Box, sharper in all the tiny minutiae..which just stack and stack..until noticeable in an vast entirety.

And I like Founder's Park better too.

Box does look like a minor league park with all the ads everywhere.
It could use a refresher while still giving sponsors ad space.
