Mingo, I'm not getting in another argument with you today. It's exhausting, daily, to do this.

I'm just stating out how I climbed out of debt and have maintained a great credit score to finance a vehicle, save a considerable piece of coin as a fall back, and invest properly for my retirement.

Again, just my 2 cents. I respect all of yalls approaches, but this has worked for me. And I just wanted to share that.

I just never got into credit card debt. Seems like a better alternative.

You gave bad advice, that's ok. Take your L and move on

Maybe you shouldn't be giving silly money handling advice on the internet then

Wouldn't the person who fricked up as a younger person pulling his debt problem into place and actually getting shite together, rebuilding his credit into the 800 club, and having a substantial net worth now be the EXACT person you'd want to go for advice for the same?

Don't get in credit card debt would have been infinitely better advice.

Very constructive advice to people already in debt mingo.

Also very progressive of you.

You're insufferable, you know that?

No, for the same reason I don't ask Casey Anthony for parenting or legal advice...

Have you tried not being a dick for just one day on here? You should give it a shot. Might help that short man syndrome of yours.

Not being in debt is political

Don't be wrong and no one will tell you you are wrong. Seems pretty simple to me. I didn't make you say dumb shite

Literally apples to oranges.

A better parallel would be how AA is ran by former alcoholics. Or how a lot of people in psychology and psychiatry have some form of trauma or issue themselves. Social workers as well.

A lot of financial advisers have hit rock bottom previously and utilize their own experiences as references to building back up.

Again. I respect yalls opinion. But, I just was giving advice on how I pulled myself out of my own financial hole and how others can too.

Always have just one credit card and use it as a gas card. Do not touch it outside of that. Pay it off every month. Utilize an index fund for your retirement, a savings account as a windfall account, and never get below a grand in checking.

I hope something financially bad happens to people like you.

And I want people like WDS and Mingo to get really fat.

Why, because I'm cautious with my money and save like my grandparents and parents did? Man they had fantastic retirements.. mostly because they were also frugal and didn't blow money on commercial goods and going out constantly? Or truck nuts?

I can agree with you here though.

Don’t get homeowners insurance, it you own your place.

The Feds will build you a new house, after a while.
