Rosenblatt Stadium vs TD Ameritrade?

I went with my dad in 91 for the first title then again in 96 for the walkoff. Has anyone been to the new TD Ameritrade? Was just wondering if it had the feel of the old stadium. I can tell you when me and my dad walked in that stadium you could feel the energy. Even more so in 96 Bc it was a return trip I suppose. I hated to see that stadium go and I sure miss my old man this time of year too.

Rosenblatt Stadium no longer existing is an absolute disgrace. The new stadium is a pitiful excuse of a replacement.

Definitely the guy to talk to.
But yeah, I know plenty of people from Omaha from my time in Colorado and they said that the CWS lost some of the lure once Rosenblatt was gone.
I'm sure it's the similar feeling between old vs new Alex Box.

This comment could not sum up my thoughts more acutely. Spot on

It's more comparable to new Alex Box vs Dudy Noble Field

TD Ameritrade is fun but it's nothing like Rosenblatt. The only thing I can compare it to is the Cotton Bowl when it went from the Cotton Bowl Stadium to Jerry World. It is much more corporate

I’ve only been to TD, but from what everyone says, TD is too corporate and doesn’t have the atmosphere that Rosenblatt had. They should have at least built it in the same area.

I believe it. It honestly pissed me off when I read they were tearing it down. You could literally feel the mystic walking up to that place. And yes. The old box, to me, was way better. Rosenblatt will forever be known to tiger fans of that era at least as Alex Box North.

Isn't TD more of a pitcher's park. It is positioned so the prevailing winds are blowing in most of the time.

Rosenblatt was absolutely awesome. I wish like hell I could bring my kids to witness what I witnessed with my old man in that stadium.

Unfortunately, this is like most sports experiences. My first baseball game was Fenway park in 1986. We pulled up and parked right next to the stadium my uncle then took us to the booth and bought us tickets 5 rows back from home plate for $15. My biggest complaint was I couldn’t catch a foul ball because of the net.

Commercialization at all the new stadiums kills the experience to me.

Ya, I think they turned it and the wind mostly blows in now.

Was remodeling not an option? Why didn’t the locals put up more of a fight?
Nothing like historic baseball stadiums.

Yep. I will believe till the day I die that we would've won the Championship in 2013 had Rosenblatt still existed. Mason Katz was hitting absolute bombs and they were getting caught at the warning track. West-coast bullshite UCLA small ball works perfectly in that garbage park. frick TD Ameritrade.

I don’t know what I’ll do if they ever replace Wrigley
