I am still upset at the way Paul botched the Maurice Hampton situation.
I realize Hampton is in the transfer portal now, but I think he would have helped.

If Hampton would have stuck it out two more weeks he might be the starting center fielder right now. CPM does hold some responsibility in the situation but Hampton leaving without letting the season play out also was at fault.

Paul didn't push him into the transfer portal in the middle of a season.
What did Hampton achieve by going into the portal mid-season? He could have stuck it out, worked hard, maybe get a chance, and after the season, if he still didn't like his chances, transfer somewhere else.

He could have easily waited till end of semester to leave
