When the Greene story came out, I commented something along the lines of Troop F being full of coverups and wrong doings. Yet another person has filed civil suit against the State Police because of beatings they claimed to have received by Troop F.
They need to clean house on this entire Troop, they’re dangerous and ill equipped to be law enforcers.

quote:

Three Louisiana State Police troopers who bragged over text messages about an “arse whoopin” they had just doled out on a Black motorist last year in Richland Parish are named in the latest civil rights lawsuit alleging excessive force by troopers patrolling the state’s northeast corner.

quote:

In his use-of-force report, which was approved by two supervisors, Sgt. Bruce Robinson and Capt. John Peters, Brown did not check a box to indicate if body-worn cameras had captured the incident. State Police investigators later found they had, and that the footage revealed that Harris had “immediately surrendered” after exiting his car, splaying his hands and legs on the ground.

This guy is a special kind of a-hole.
quote:

“He gonna be sore tomorrow for sure,” Brown texted. “BET he wont run from a full grown bear again.”

quote:

“Bet he don’t even cross into LA anymore,” DeMoss replied. It “warms my heart knowing we could educate that young man,” crowed Brown. His father, Bob Brown, was chief of staff to former State Police Superintendent Kevin Reeves, who had led Troop F as its commander before taking the agency's top job. Both Reeves and Bob Brown resigned from State Police late last year.

I know being anti-police isn’t cool around here anymore, but these guys are absolute pieces of shite that were* taking advantage of the little power they had.

Yeah, I know some great troopers, but these sound like Grade A pussies who have no business policing.

isn't KJ Malone (Karl's son) a state trooper?

That's the problem.

They SHOULD have very little power. But since they are agents of the State they have practically unlimited power.

If that was the case "good" cops would be turning in the bad cops.

Perhaps if qualified immunity were limited or done away with entirely, then the current police culture could change.

JBE hand picked Reeves after the Edmonson Las Vegas scandal. Murphy Paul previously ran IA at LSP before taking the job at BRPD.

yeah, every arrestee would be able to personally sue every cop involved in their arrest, no matter the circumstances. Nobody would be able to afford to be a cop with those litigation expenses. The animals would literally be running the zoo but I'm sure that is the end goal for some of you.

People learn from pain, pleasure, and repetition.

So, i would say, he actually did learn.

The trooper was correct in stating that

It's nice to see that the State Police have created a climate where this guy can feel comfortable with his sexual identity.

They do more often than you think. But that doesn't make headlines.

One of those Troopers is obviously a gay dude, so they might let him slide on given pride month.

Says text message. I actually knew Jacob Browns little brother and the father mentioned, Bob.
No qualms with either one, never knew “Jake” just heard stories.
Little brother was a hard nosed redneck kid. Maybe a bit racist, but that’s not saying much for Monroe kids.
Obviously older brother was a douche bag
