Talk About the First MLB Game you attended

First MLB game I attended was on June 2, 1953 (68 years ago today) when the Detroit Tigers hosted the Philadelphia Athletics. (Also the first MLB game my dad attended.)
The game ended in a tie – not an uncommon situation at that time. American League rules said no inning could start after mid-night, so the game ended at the bottom of the 14th inning as a 7-7 tie. Detroit played four ties that season.

Astros vs cubs in the Astro dome. Dad took my sister and myself. Nolan was pitching and I'll never forget it.

The name "Tiger Rant" does not cover any and all teams with a Tiger as their mascot my friend.

Sometimes people will say "wrong board" and I disagree, but this one truly is on the wrong message board.

The first one I remember was an Astros game against the Expos in the late 70’s.

went to a Marlins game in middle of 2003....team was in the shitter at the time...want to say there were maybe a couple hundred fans in attendance. It was empty enough that each strike echoed throughout the whole park...that same shite team went on to win the world series that year.....that season has always been case and point that the MLB season is too fricking long

The absolute first baseball game I ever watched was Nolan Ryan’s 299th win, the old Ranger Stadium in Arlington. I was hooked after that.

94', first year the Rangers opened in Arlington against the Expos. My one and only MLB game. When I was younger I wanted so badly to go and see the Braves.

The first I remember was at Camden Yards, Cal Ripken Jr. hit a grand slam in the first inning, and in the 4th I almost caught another HR and got on Sportscenter.

I can't find the actual game and date to save my life but I know these were true:
- Early 2000s
- Braves beat Cubs 3-2.
- Maddux gives up 2 solo shots.
- Braves win when their runner on 3rd was walked home in the bottom of the 9th.
- There was a rain delay.
- Turner Field.

Don't remember the exact day, it was probably around 1996 or 1997. Family trip to Atlanta to visit other family, went see a Braves/Expos game. Expos won, I remember someone hit a grand slam and my uncle was coming back from the concession stands when it happened and it landed in his general vicinity.
About all I remember, I was like 8 years old at the time

My first was a Rangers game in 98 when they were playing the Cardinals and McGwire was in the home run race. My dad still gives me shite about it cause he had to take me to the bathroom and while we were gone McGwire hit a bomb. 2 innings later he took me to get some food from the concession stand and a brawl broke out on the field. I was very young so I don’t remember all this but I made my dad miss a lot of action that day.

Mets vs Reds at old riverfront stadium, think it was 2001? Reds lost but don’t remember the score.

I remember mine well. Astros/Cubs opening day in the Astrodome (1999 or 2000). Last season of the Astrodome. Sosa almost got tossed for arguing an out call. Carl Everett and Richard Hidalgo went back to back. Shane Reynolds threw well. I think Wagner closed it. Astros win 4-2. My dad was gone from the 3rd to the 7th with my sister getting merch/concessions, etc. Long trip for not much ball for him lol

First game I truly recall was A's Rangers do not remember much other than my legs getting 4th degree burns from the bleachers.
Yankees Royals at Royals Stadium, Nettles pop slides at 3rd and they start fighting.
Third game was The Cardinals Red Shoendinst was the manager that I remember as they were firing everyone that year.
