A Chinese man was confirmed Tuesday as the first person with a case of the H10N3 strain of bird flu, according to the country’s health authorities.
The Chinese National Health Commission identified the 41-year-old as a resident of Zhenjiang in the country’s Jiangsu province.
He was diagnosed with the virus May 28 after having been hospitalized April 28 with multiple symptoms, including fever, the health commission said, according to Reuters.

Looks like that's "mild" bird flu I guess
If we ever have a real human to human transmission outbreak of legit bird flu the lockdowns might be the least of our worries
Of course, the overreaction to COVID would make it impossible to get public cooperation on a genuine pandemic threat.
