This is why we need tough policing and a tough swift legal system. Instead we have what we experience now.
What we have now a racist POS mayor and a
Racist punk arse puppet police chief.
Black lives only matter when killed by a white man..

That apartment complex has to have surveillance all over the place. If I recall right, this place has a gate to enter the complex, although it’s been almost 10 years since I’ve been in that area. The shooters may have been on foot and had someone pick them up after the killings. People at the BBQ without a doubt could identify the perps. The question remains, will they talk.

So according to someone who would know, the current number of homicides for BRPD this year is 57. That’s 7 weeks ahead of last year. I’m not sure of the totals for the rest of the parish however.

Well ya, that's part of the unemployment problem we have. All induced by government policy

Yes Big Head Ray. A really good man. He tried to sell me his restaurant 3 times. Then he died like a month later. Miss him very much.

As far as I’m concerned, this conversation is over.
This is one of the most pussy responses I’ve seen on this board in quite some time.

what about the shooting at College and Jefferson Hwy. ?
Only one way to correct this mayhem, go like Wyatt Earp.
1. Broome/Paul have to go. If this doesn't happen the you can't go to #2.
2. Double up the academy, put new grads on the day shift.
3.Move experienced officers to the night shift.
4.Identify where the majority of the criminal element stays.
5.Roll into that area with overwhelming force ,crack heads, arrest anyone who is out after 1 AM.
6.DA must charge with quickness, Judge has fas,fas trial, ship to Angola with quickness, no less than 5 year sentence, those with priors get even more.
7. repeat this several times a month, unannounced, and stay on it ,don't let up.
8.You have to telegraph a message.

Lived there for about a year. It was a quick/cheap option immediately after my divorce but you could tell one did not want to live there long. Big mix of ratchet and young professionals
I lived there in the mid-1990s when I was a student. It was a nice place back then. I also had friends at Place du Plantier, and it was a good apartment complex, too. My friends and I used to tan at that pool where toddlers are being murdered now.
It shocks me how much BR has gone downhill in the past couple of decades. I guess those apartments are now a complete shithole. It breaks my heart that some POS can just start firing a gun into a crowd that includes children. Death penalty is the only option.

Loser progressive Democrat mayor and loser POS incompetent police chief who both are unqualified and incapable of doing their jobs and probably any other job they would get.
Both should be run out of town.
But both will probably retain their positions.
So all that needs to be done is to elect a republican and everything will be fixed? Kip Holden was probably the best mayor BR ever had.. What was his party?
The problem is.. No one worth a shite is running for these positions. And when the mayor election is on the same ballot as the president election there is a lot of people who go vote.. But then the runoff comes and the voter turnout is as low as it was, that will always favor the incumbent.
Does anyone know someone who you think would be able to manage the city who can play the game to get elected? Convince them to run. Going against the incumbent you start being behind.. So it needs to be someone who can be aggressive and show leadership off the bat.
Bitching isn't going to get things fixed.

Better option: form a new incorporated entity and watch the remaining derelicts burn down the former. St George
