Starting? He’s the most consistently great political voice in America for the past decade.

Actual doctor - not getting the shot. ( it's not a jab, it's not a vaccine )

I'm with him.

I have always liked Rand.

His only problem in 2016 was that he just wasn't ready to operate the media buttons that Trump knew how to work.

He is intelligent but prob not they guy to to go to for medical advice...he is an eye doctor so specialized in a bit different field than what I would use for a general health doc...also let his certification expire a while back and has a few malpractice cases against him which he lost...

If you are basing your decisions on people strong academic backgrounds I think there are a lot of doctors with significantly stronger academics suggesting a different view from his...

Please. He left us in quite the lurch and keeps promoting this vaccine bullshite.

Rand calls them as he sees them. He's always been that way. I'd love for more people to wake TF up and elect a real small government guy like Rand.

Which nut job are you on DU? Because I know you posted in this thread about Rand.

I was giggling like a little kid this morning reading the responses from these fricking psychos. Progressives are so damn gullible

DU thread on Rand refusing the vaccine

I would love that too.

But it's not enough to have great political philosophy.

You have to know how to beat the media in order to win.

I like Rand’s political sensibilities but his personality doesn’t play well on the big stage….probably a good VP though.

Rand has been the most politically consistent Senator of my lifetime. He’s a man for the people.

Because he already had COVID and had a robust spike protein antibody response when tested. He said he’d get the vaccine had he not had it already, which is perfectly rational given his age.

He’s not socially conservative enough to rally a decent segment of the Republican base. His stances on drugs and the drug war alone are enough to alienate millions of boomer republicans. I’d vote for him in a heart beat though.
