Nope. My son is past that and on to bigger things, but I don’t hate on the dads having fun with their kids and other parents. I don’t get the hate.

My favorite thing about the travel ball threads is how they are filled with people who do travel ball, but it’s always the “other parents” who do this stuff.

Probably happens all the time. A lot of REC leagues take their all-stars and sign up for a month of travel ball tournaments.

Like a bunch of kids from Scotlandville who showed up 2 minutes before game time because their '85 E-250 van wouldn't start. Then they all share a single bat and bat around on Chasynn in the first inning. I'd pay $10 / day to see that.

I think its fine if you want to have your kid playing travel ball at 12, when he is starting to develop his arm and body. But an 8u travel ball coach pitch team is a complete joke. This kid isnt even playing real baseball yet.
