I know what you are saying but you are thinking about this the wrong way.
These people don’t “have covid”. We are finding covid particles in the nose of a perfectly healthy person.
Our noses pick up bacteria and viruses all day long. Go ahead and swab your nose and put it in a Petri dish. You are going to grow staphylococcus, streptococcus, and all kinds of viruses.
Does that mean you have a staph infection? Obviously not.
Go around and start swabbing random surfaces and I bet you will find covid particles occasionally as well.
Swab a tree a 100 times and you might eventually find some covid genetic material that returns a positive test. Does the tree have covid?

I agree with you. I'm vaxxed and I don't give two shits if you are or if you wear a mask. And I'll shake your hand. But frankly, I didn't care much if you wore a mask or not at any point provided we weren't locked in a 3x5 room together. There certainly are some folks on the far end of the spectrum who are legit scared.

The vaccine is supposed to keep you from being hospitalized or dying, not from testing positive on a sensitive laboratory test.

The OP probably doesn't know this but vaccines don't typically keep you from catching some malady, but rather either mostly or totally reduce the symptoms and shorten the illness.
