Whether it’s plant-based fake meat, live-streamed workouts, celebrity podcasts, or TikTok videos and other new apps, the media revels in reporting the latest trends that are sweeping the country – at least most of the time.

However, if the trend involves guns or the Constitution – especially the Second Amendment – don’t look for stories anytime soon, even if it’s a viral national trend.

The mainstream media has missed [read: purposely ignored] one of the biggest trend stories ever – the massive surge in Second Amendment Sanctuaries at the state, county, and local level.

As it stands now, more than 46% of all counties in the United States have declared themselves Second Amendment Sanctuaries, according to Noah Davis of sanctuarycounties.com and its companion site constitutionalsanctuaries.com.

They may not be saying anything publicly, but the Oklahoma panhandle and the High Plains of Texas will be firmly in our corner. You try to take guns from some rancher outside of Amarillo and you're going to have a fight on your hands.

It's almost like it's our constitutional right.

You can bet that far more counties come down on the side of the Constitution than this map indicates.
Just bc a county hasn’t passed a bill, doesn’t mean it’ll encroach on its citizens’ rights.

It's just 4 counties. Harris, Dallas, Travis, and Bexar.

Does not matter a single bit in a state with state police that troll the frick out of people

My state had to stop even sending Maryland any information about people because they would pull over anyone they ran with a CCW to frick them over

If you think police are going to honor this on any level you have missed the mark. In fact the police in blue states love being the only ones with any fun time.

Its crazy anyone thinks these people wont ram you up the arse at first chance for giggles in the taxpayer office

I'd like to see that map in 3 more years. It will look like a 2020 Presidential election map. The odd part will be the green are the safe areas and the other will be where 90% of gun crime will be perpetuated.

Proud to say I contacted some elected and non elected officials in our county and made it happen in our Florida county!!!

So you can too

Those chicken shite politicians have to have an excuse and potential scapegoat before doing anything

Be their scapegoat and tell em you’ll get em voted out if they refuse our 2A protection

and right after session where our politicians once again shite their pants, a couple times over the course of it. This state is so fricked. Everytime we feel like we're turning the corner, our idiots in charge show out.

The NYPD and USMC were the only two organizations of significant size that a majority of donations went to Trump.

Not sure that the local beat cop feels your sentiment.

Thar map tells me that gun grabbers would not have a good time in the Appalachian or Rocky Mountains

Southern counties would probably pass these resolutions if they felt threatened but the south is so gun friendly it’s not really necessary
