There was an article when this bill first came up a week or so ago. They had like 3 or 4 reps quoted in the article and basically every one of them (all republicans I'm pretty sure) acknowledged that weed WILL be legalized in Louisiana, just a matter of when.
So basically anyone who votes against this is just happy to stall legitimate progress in this state and make sure we lose whatever early mover advantage that could be had for the first SEC state to legalize. So happy our legislature is looking out for us and our state's best interests!

Debate pushed to Wednesday
Nothing gonna happen. I just don’t believe anything will happen and hopefully be pleasantly surprised if it does.

Debate pushed back to Wednesday. Call your rep and ask them to vote yes.

I feel like pushing it back to Wednesday is a good thing, rather than just voting on it today and killing it.

There is so much wrong with this sentence. So much wrong.

Am I reading that correctly? If 434 passes then 699 automatically passes? Is that even allowed?
Or do both have to pass for either to take effect?

I don't think you are misreading but I can't discern from the content either.

I’m all for this bill passing, but come on coffee doesn’t believe in a comparison with alcohol, weed, Xanax and adderall.
