We belong to both.
Sam’s has more of the snack foods the kids like. But Costco’s produce is 100% better.
I go to Costco more bc it’s closer- the milk and bread (which I buy the most) is from the same companies. Plus the Kerry Gold butter.
Today I had a run in with another Sam’s customer - and now I can see why ppl think it’s very trashy. Should’ve gone to Costco but had to go to Bass Pro.

Costco classier but mask Nazis.
Sams cheaper membership.
Overall prices are about the same.

Whichever ones closer.

Costco is the more upscale offering

Go to both, but prefer Sams because I can check out on my phone.

We’ve had both. They have great value. Since it’s only 2 of us at home and the locations are over 40 minutes away we don’t see a need to have a membership.

Hot, sexy guys mid 30’s-late 40’s.

I have never stepped foot in either one of those establishments.

Costco wine selection alone is worth membership.

Costco if only for the four roses handles and grillos pickles

I go to neither. Never been in Costco. Think I went to Sam’s about 20 years ago.

The more convenient one to your house or office.

Have been going to Sam's for years and had a Costco open up recently nearby.
Costco -- cleaner store (of course, ours is brand new), better bakery, better house brand stuff, more inventory, more impressive meat and seafood selection
Sam's -- considerably less expensive, signage to tell you what's in each aisle, their "scan n' go" app is the tits. Still good meat but don't have the selection of Costco.
If you can afford it, keep both memberships for at least a year to determine which you find yourself happiest with. If it's an either/or kind of deal, I'd opt for Sam's for budget and get-in-get-out convenience or Costco for selection and good house brand items.

Sams has the crap our kids eat. The fake chickfila that really isn't chickfila has cut our trips there 90%, they now only ask for breakfast from time to time from there.
We got Sam's club because they give a free membership every winter, you pay $45 for the membership but they give you a $45 gift card you can use the same day.
I will say the "stuff" at costco is generally better, but the Sam's restaurant stuff is solid, the durable goods and single use items.
When Costco puts something on sale it is usually makes a good deal and excellent deal. I don't see as many deals at Sams club.

Costco travel is legit

Costco, I hardly ever go to Sam's anymore.

Costco and it’s not close

Sams turned into the ghetto when they started accepting EBT/Food Stamps. So basically, it’s Wal-Mart in bulk.
