New LSU president would not give an answer when asked about changing LSU traditions

Instead choosing to say he didn’t have all of the history or facts to go into detail, but would make an effort to "historicize and contextualize" certain building names and monuments. Including the name “Tigers”.
LSU is dead.
LSU is dead.

Can’t wait to watch the LSU Fighting warriors of justice take the field.

Changing history and traditions is a requirement for progressives. To them history and traditions must be changed.

What was the exact question? What was the exact answer?
No offense, but I don't entirely trust the rant to provide accurate interpretations of anything that isn't directly sourced.
Especially when it has to do with academics.

Think of it this way comrades, in 10 years when the left has fully taken over our nation LSU graduates will be looked upon with great esteem. Employers will hire us solely to fit their woke quotas.

Jesus dude. Give it a rest. Didn’t you already say you are done with LSU? Why are you still melting over this hire then? Be done with them and move on with your life.

Get ready for a woke lecture in the media guide as well as a pregame video contextualizing the history of the name before the Tigers take the field.
quote:
The Tigers moniker comes from the Civil War era confederate Louisiana Tigers regiment. The Civil War was fought over slavery and the rights of African Americans to live as a free people. While the Union won the war and ended slavery, African Americans still struggle with the burden of racism, including here in Louisiana. Today LSU disavows the past link of our nickname to the confederacy and while for many it can be a painful reminder our nation's struggles, we feel that being a Tiger is an important part of our identity here at LSU. Where being a Tiger means loyalty, honor and service to others of every background. To learn more about how LSU is fighting against racism, visit LSU.edu/SocialJustice.
