Should Superman be green or gray? That would make his gig at the Daily Planet a bit difficult to explain away... Why does this race of aliens from a distant planet look exactly like humans of Earth? Is there an "Ancient Aliens" kind of deal inherent in the Superman mythos that no one has addressed?

I'm just saying it's not inherently wrong to look for a black Superman depending on the story you want to tell. If you want to toy with Superman growing up in Harlem instead of on a farm, he probably shouldn't be white
Could you tell a story like that that was interesting and entertaining for everybody? Yes. Will they? Probably not.

Won't be seeing that. Wouldn't go see a white Black Panther either. They should stop jacking around with existing superheroes. You don't like their skin color then create a new one. Isn't this basically super-cultural appropriation???
