For me, this solidifies that Brennan will be the starter. T.J. would be staying if he felt Max was the clear #1. If that were the case Brennan would certainly transfer, leaving Finley in the competition for the starting slot. With Brennan being the favorite, T.J. knows he has landed at #3. Which means it's time to move now, rather than wait on a decision by Myles.
This decision also puts Peetz in a pickle. If he goes with Max, Myles is immediately gone, leaving Nussie as his only backup. So you have to assume the talks have been had, and the QBs know their order. No way LSU goes from the best QB room in the nation to a Soph, and true Frosh in a matter of weeks.
Myles is now the man, with 2 quality backups.

Some of our fans need to take off the purple and gold shade. Yes, he was a freshman but may be the most inaccurate qb I've ever seen. Just because you have a laser doesn't make you a good qb. He has a very long ways to go but I wish him the best. Lol really did someone say he fits Okl system!! That a very dumb comment because in Okl system it's not about arm strength it's all about accuracy

Southern Miss is probably too small a school for a big time recruit like Finley, but pairing him with Will Hall would be interesting. Some of those Favre passing records might be in trouble...
