Don’t know if he ( Wayne Higgins) ever went to trial or took a plea. Think he has been out on bond since Aug 2008. Don’t think he is great health, guess DA will let problem take care of itself

Last I had heard, he was in very bad health and living with family to assist him and because of his health issues he wasn't being brought to trial right away.
He was released and placed under "House Arrest" and only allowed to leave for religious reasons, Dr. visits, etc. and not allowed to be in possession of any guns and this was in the summer of 2018.
I don't recall there being any trial for this yet since I'm sure it would have made the news in some fashion.
He may have died for all I know.

The houses are located between I-10 and Veterans on the right hand side if heading toward the lake after getting off at Bonnabel coming from N.O.
