He also owed a large farming operation in south Georgia that aimed to be a player in the grocery vegetable aisle. Largely a failure and I think he bailed on that one.

It was a hyperbolic statement because I don’t believe Soros (and perhaps Gates, et al) just makes investments ‘just to invest’ anymore.
It would be more viable to purchase half of Manhattan than crap land in Louisiana.

Bill Gates is heavily invested in biofuels. It would make sense for him to own lots of farmland that produces crops for such biofuels.
Not everything is a conspiracy.

Yes - I get it about Gates - was more curious about the Soros connection, actually. Even though I don’t really trust either one.

Cottonwood Ag, Oak River, Angelina, Cascade Investments.
It's all very transparent and not that hard to find with a little research. Our media just sucks at finding this stuff.

Nope, just giving my opinion on the situation.

Ok. Good for him. I hope he received top dollar so he can continue to support divisive organizations.

a lot of staunch Bill Gates defenders in here. strange.

They will "donate" it to a charitable organization that will then sell it, and "invest" the money in one of the "charitable organizations" that the Gates' run. They will avoid taxes and split the money.
