Sensei Hannity has a 9th degree black belt and that's nothing to sneeze at, but he's unwatchable to me. He's full of himself, unoriginal, and not a deep thinker. And his interviews are just an excuse or him to talk.

Hard pass from me

I don't mean this in any derogatory way, I tender all due respect in fact, but it just seems to me that many folks have subconsciously come to these negative conclusions about Hannity due to the expectation that the next guy over will likely have the same set of opinions and conclusions. Sorta "falling in line" if you will.

I can only assume that we're all judging Hannity off of some perfect or near perfect prototypical media personality. Perhaps it would help if that prototype was identified so that some of us can better understand the basis for these negative opinions.

It could also be noted that the legendary Rush Limbaugh thought pretty highly of Hannity, Trump as well. Amongst countless others, I'm quite certain. Who am I to dismiss the seal of approval from Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump?

We all need serious help with the concept of "reasonable expectations," and I'd be happy to put myself at the head on the line for that. I'm far from exempt. Something's gotta give before 2022, lest we decline to even cast votes for reason of lack of a perfect candidate in every instance. Those are unreasonable expectations.

**And IMO this is a concern that extends to our politicians and candidates and nominees, as well as our media personalities.

They went separate ways before Colmes died but that's really about the only time I watched him was when it was Hannity and Colmes. How long ago was that?

Jesse Watters needs to be in that discussion. Extremely articulate and well grounded. Don't know much about Levine and don't watch Tucker but I see them cited here quite often. I only know about Jesse from my wife - she loves The Five and watches Jesse on Saturday night. So, if I happen to be in the room at 4:00 PM, The Five is on.

The value of Hannity in my opinion is his platform. This is one of the few places with high ratings where real journalists with something to say... Sarah Carter, John Solloman, etc... can come on the show and tell what they have actually uncovered and what it means.

This is 95% of the value of the Sean Hannity show in my estimation. In the scheme of things... the most important show on TV for conservatives for this reason alone.

Don't compare Hannity to Tucker.

Tucker was an Attorney who figured out he could much more on a TV Series than in a courtroom.

Hannity was nothing more than a radio jock that got a hot off of spinning records.

No comparison.

What? He was never an attorney and doesn't have a JD

And Hannity never "spun records"

He was always a talk show host from the very beginning of his radio career.

Ad hominem critique, minus substance, IMO; you just don't like Hannity personally, ud. I'm sure it's that way with a lot.

Re "substance"...a major criticism of our Supreme Court and Biblical/Theological narrative today is based on the 'reinterpretation' or 'corruption' of the "original thought" (Principles) of both. The idea that "repeating...over and over" is a negative, would be ludicrous if one believes in the positivity of traditional, Biblical and Constitutional (First) Principles. In the realm of being an activist re promoting/empowering one's chosen Principle...Hannity (I assume) realizes that REPETITION is the mechanical basis for cementing particular skills (Martial Arts, etc.) and/or beliefs. Reps...work.

Hannity knows that he is fighting against the 24-7 propaganda of the Leftist MSM...so he damn well better make every minute count in refuting/exposing their agenda.

I don't watch Hannity a lot any more, but I don't go to Church either. But both Church and Hannity (and prime time programs like His) serve a critical purpose; because a lot of people do need these Institutions. Otherwise it's all Leftist indoctrination, and fading freedom and faith.

Hannity has more $ than he can ever spend. Why would he rile the ruthless Left, if not for love of God and Country, and gratitude for the extraordinary 'ride' that America has bestowed on Him? Same with Trump.

I am as conservative as it gets.

Limbaugh, Levin, Steyn, Boortz and many others are infinitely better on their worst day than Hannity is on his best.

For God's sake...he interrupts and talks over Trump.

I know that, ud; we're in the same foxhole. Just pointing out that your dislike of Hannity (style, character, etc.) does and should not negate the fact that Hannity's presence is a valuable asset for Constitutional Conservatism. I suspect that there will someone who takes his place in the near future (Bongino?). Personalities are like Art...they become blasé' after a while, and must be replaced because they no longer have power to attract, educate, inspire and motivate.

It’s annoying but HE HAS TO while he still has a platform.

He takes the most outrageous things the leftist media runs cover for.

If he didn’t do that, you might never hear it again.
