There are numerous times in the past that TD has the latest news dealing with on going events.

If you want to get made a fool of for that long, I'm sure someone will oblige you. Not me though.

Well if you shoot the gun (or phone) out of his hand and it flies into the air, it's permissable to shoot it a few more times.... Remember how Sundance did that across the floor in Butch Cassidy... Makes quite an impression.

So I’ll shoot him so he doesn’t shoot himself.
In case he misses.

actually just to name a couple off the top of my head, i agreed with the shootings of that bryant girl and jacob blake.
i have yet to see you blame any officers for a bad shoot though

This one is completely ridiculous. That cop needs to get his eyes checked and has no business carrying a deadly weapon.
I’m usually pro cop on most of these shootings but this one is kind of mind boggling. The cop had cover behind the car and the guy was 20 yards away. Even if he did have a gun to his head why would you open fire?

Up into the 80s many LEO carried 6 round revolvers (many were .38 caliber) I wonder if they were less apt to shoot, knowing they had few rounds and a weapon with accuracy for shite and less stopping power?

That is cool and all until you run into a criminal with better weapons.

I didn't take him to be suggesting it just wondering if the extra capacity has changed cops in some fundamental way.
There is no question cops from that time would be outgunned now in plenty of situations. I doubt it was the first time but one of the pivotal movements in cops being uparmed and uparmored was the North Hollywood bank robber shootout, it was 20 or so years ago.

No doubt, I don't blame them I'd carry a Glock 17.
Mental health issues are likely also a big cause of shootings. There was a point when parents would keep any crazy kids at home or warehoused in an institution, know way too many or just wondering the streets.

Why do they only include the race of the victim when they are non-white?
Posted on 4/26/21 at 7:43 pm to MidnightVibe
Also, no way officer could have discerned race from that distance in the dark.
