It’s a lot of fun watching a game with a large crowd again.

He doesn’t have the stones, let’s be honest. For someone who ran on being a hardass Army “Ranger” 82nd Super Duper Paratrooper he sure hasn’t shown an ounce of character or chest in his time in office, and he isn’t going to start now. He’s a party man and he’ll fall in line with whatever they tell him to do, whether it costs our athletic department millions of dollars or not

Had the opportunity to spend some time in MS the last few days. It was damn nice not to have to wear a mask!

JBE is a bought and paid for piece of shite. This isn't happening. We'll be lucky to have 100% for LSU football.

Which would contradict his political party narrative. It doesn’t work that way. Y’all got played by your governor, now you have to deal with the decision made to vote for him.

All because Vitter liked hookers and Rispone was mean.

Every time I hear the term "drain the swamp" I always think of the politics of Louisiana.

You are exactly right. Even left-leaning media outlets are starting to notice. The Advocate had this piece:

Advocate piece on Ole Miss crowds

And an article this week in The New York Times, of all places, argued that we have learned enough to know that outdoor masking is generally unnecessary.

Mississippi removed their mask mandate over a month ago, and you know where they rank right now among states in new Covid cases per capita? 46th. Only Oklahoma, Hawaii, Arkansas, and California have fewer. Texas, the other "Neanderthal" state that lifted its mandate at the same time, is 37th. "Following the science" doesn't mean just being maximally cautious and restrictive at all times, but also accepting good news and liberalizing when the data suggest that certain behaviors and settings are actually quite safe.

Having a packed stadium for Arkansas next weekend would be huge. Sadly I think if he announced that we could go to 100% on Wednesday I don’t think it would be allowed next weekend. They would claim they don’t have enough time to get concessions, the proper staffing, etc. Or at least that’s what everyone told me when I wondered why it took 2 weeks for them to go from 25% to 50%

it's called freedom. Let people decide for themselves if they want to wear a mask or go out in public.

Let the high-risk folks decide to stay home or attend.

And remember that this virus has a 99.9+ percent survival rate.

Let us get on with life.

Agree 100%. Elections have consequences and people in Baton Rouge and LSU fans are certainly having to deal with the consequences now.

Masks DO NOT work against microscopic viruses! It is like having a screen door as a hatch on a submarine.

They do to protect against water droplets and bacteria. Masks are worthless against microscopic viruses. Follow the science!
