Yeah that’s what they all say everytime they go through a squall.
10-15s blow out windows in 65ft crew boats and sweep water over the stern of a 300ft supply boat trying to hold DP.

Any info on where the flooding was?

I’m hearing about 3 feet or so on Cheniere. Not sure about the island itself.

I always hear people talk about Cheniere but never knew exactly what/where it was. Care to shed some light?

Before the island on the left It’s a 6-7 street community.

Thanks. That’s right by the place where my camper is I just never put it together. I know what y’all are talking about now

Whats the community called that is across from Elmers entrance road? Still Cheniere?
Posted on 4/14/21 at 7:35 am to AutoYes_Clown
Still no water or power on the island.

Damn. The FRC was actually out on crew training at the time the storm rolled through. Luckily they were out there and able to help a bit.

How the hell do 115 mph winds just happen without a hurricane or tornado?
That's what I was trying to figure out. That's nuts. Apparently it's called a wake low and can happen even inshore

Heading down there now, I'll try and give a report.

From what I was told this morning, Some campers at our place had windows blown out and most have shifted from their spots but none overturned. I imagine that there will be some vent covers and caps missing leading to water damage. I'm planning to head down there Friday. Power was restored this morning.

You're at the new campground on the left side right before the graveyard?
Posted on 4/14/21 at 2:09 pm to nated14
All looked good, had one camper that looked like it got moved several feet.

getting hit pretty hard again right now
our camp was fine no water damage, one door upstairs was sorta warped which is strange.
