The left's reaction to black gun ownership is bewildering and facinating

If you ever want to redpill someone point them to the often repeated, "Best way to get Republicans behind gun control is to arm black people" by online blue checkmarks like these replies.

This is what facinates me the most about regurgitating that BS:

1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have NEVER seen any conservative of any stripe make an argument to take guns away because they feel threatened by black people having them. Every discussion within republican/conservative circles about adressing violent crime aren't bringing up confiscating firerms. There isn't a bigotry of low expectations for black people by conservatives on this issue becuase we hold responsible gun ownership principles equally. If any individual can avoid being an idiot criminal and use their firarms responsibility, you're good to go no matter who you are.

2. The idiots that would commit crimes with them never had problems obtaining and owning them before now. Only recently have you seen a black gun ownership increase due to going through the proper legal process of owning them. Also ya know when you have a good economy and low unemployment rate for black communities; you got a lot more people able to afford more guns.

3. Even with some black gun owners that do open-carry protests, I have yet to see "terrified white people" using the police to "oppress" them. We know this becuase we would have certainty heard about it from the media. "See when white people open-carry it's celebrated, but when black people do it blah blah blah".

4. This too.

Whatever happened to the not “fricking around” LARPers? They were fun.

It strikes me that “armed Black men” is a large part of the reason that many Whites feel the NEED to arm themselves.

I'm white and I joined the National African Amercian Gun Association (NAAGA) [link=(www.naaga.co)]www.naaga.co[/link] about 2 years ago. They believe in gun safety and the 2nd Amendment. Plus, they are coming from a unique perspective that African Americans have historically suffered from a lost of their civil rights due in part that one of the rights that they were deprived off for many years was the right to own firearms. Let the Blue Checks argue that these folks should be deprived of their 2nd Amendment rights, I date them!

They ultimately always point to the Mulford Act, which Reagan signed into law. Of course, they always fail to mention that it passed both Democrat-controlled state houses, was never repealed (though it was racist?), and happened 54 years ago.

There was a time in our history when every man owned at least one firearm. Would it be wrong that each state require that every citizen own at least one firearm today? Also require each citizen to undergo firearm training and safety class. Sounds like a well trained militia ?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I haven't seen any evidence (particularly in inner city data) that shows that it's difficult for black Americans to obtain firearms.

That talking point is pretty stupid.

If anything, law-abiding black Americans need guns for personal protection more than anyone else.

There is a significant part of the left that supports gun ownership, particularly the far left. The Socialist Rifle Association is mostly an online group calling for socialism and gun rights. About 10,000 members in the US.

Probably the most controversial group is the Not fricking Around Coalition (NFAC). They’re a smaller but more extreme paramilitary group of black nationalists. They show up in full black bloc with rifles at protests.

i've always found it interesting that the same people that think there are white supremacists hiding behind every rock and tree also want black people to be unarmed.

i would argue that if you really think there are that many racist out there that would do you harm, please arm yourself and train to use it responsibly. i've never once heard an argument by a white person or anybody on the right arguing against anybody of color obtaining a legal firearm.

Colion Noir is an interesting follow for an extremely pro 2A black man.

More guns for black people means more black people shooting each other more than anything. More armed robberies, etc. Pretty much the only real statistic that would change much.

The 13%'ers do not account for more than a minutia of the firearms in American hands.

I hope black people arm themselves to the max.

Progs are retarded, and have no clue what the real world is like.
