Starts well, idles great, rev it up it bogs down, release the trigger it idles well. Spark plug? What is the cure? New plug? Poured some seafoam in tank with the mix gas, got it idling now.

Did you ever use ethanol? See how much a new carb is on amazon/ebay

Same thing happened to me last year....needed a new carburetor. I religiously use a fuel additive too. This past fall....after my last use....I ran all the gas out of the tank.
We will see if that helps.

Can't go wrong with this for $15. I was having trouble with mine also. Replaced everything in the kit and now it is running like a top

I think so, but it is all easy and I didn't use them. You need a torx screwdriver to remove the bolts

Air fliter clean? Try running without and see how it does.

Spark arrester covering the exhaust may be clogged. Take it off and see if it runs better.

I had the same issue. I just replaced mine with the Hutzl. Swapped fuel filter, fuel lines, air filter and spark plug. Runs great now.

When this happened to me it was my fuel line. Used a pipe cleaner and no more issues. I use non-ethonal gas only but even after 10 hrs it clogged it up. Also dry run it every winter

This. Op usually when a 2 stroke motor idles well but won’t run its a fuel supply issue. When it’s the opposite and it won’t idle but will run on wide open it’s usually a dirty carb issue. It’s not getting enough fuel or the fuel is bad. It could be a dirty fuel filter, kinked fuel line, gummed up fuel line, etc.

Carbon could also had built up before the muffler. Take muffler off and see if there is build up to the piston.

Replace your air filter. If not that you have a pin hole in your primer bulb or gas line.

Screw in the H screw on the carb 1/8 of a turn until it responds properly. This will lean the engine out now this will cause it to run hotter so when you get good throttle response get it up to operating temp and screw it back out 1/16 or or until in bogs back down. Try this see if it works.
