The tee off the valve is for expansion relief. Should just go to where it's safe to send water....

I looked into them last year. I was going to get an ultra aire. Quote in lake charles area was around 6000 for install. I'm still using a portable in the offseason when the a/c is not running....

It's just under 1000 bucks just for the parts. 6/4 Wire is between $6.50 to 7 a foot right now....

Carbon could also had built up before the muffler. Take muffler off and see if there is build up to the piston....

I did this same setup for my outdoor kitchen. If your coming off a 4oz line then the line ID and length plays a big part to have enough Btu's. I compared by double jet propane to my 23tip ng and the ng took a little over a minute longer to bring water to a boil....
