Check the scouting reports. A lot have him in Round 3 and he earned that. He showed in 2019 what he can do. Not many people can hold the line of scrimmage against two offensive lineman. Guy like that free teammates to make plays and make coaches look good.

He was one of the most consistent players on the 2019 defense, for the entire season.

Dexter Lawrence is around the same size, but he has a gear that shelvin does not. He’s a very good interior pass rusher. Shelvin hasn’t shown that.

Just as predicted. Wanted to be lazy and take off a year and it costs him his future. Just lazy. And a quitter.

Unfortunately for guys like T-Shelv , most teams aren’t going to spend a day 1 or 2 pick on a Phase TWO down player.

Looking at that pick I'm going to move up to 3rd round. Maybe late third, early 4th.

Someone said he is 345 right now. If true, he looks good at that weight.

I remember they wanted to get him down to 330.

He never stayed in shape. He complained when he didn’t play. He quit the team last season. Why would he be any higher?

You’re a f-ing idiot. He stayed in shape the entire 2019 season. He opted out 2020 just like many other stars. Can’t quit what you didn’t start. From all reports good guy that never complained. 5 star recruit that could’ve went to Bama or any other school in the nation, but chose LSU. So gfy jealous b!tch

This board is clueless about NFL evaluations. You guys are always trying to put your "NFL GM" hat on when a former player doesn't satisfy your fandom.

Glad that so many LSU players get to audition for NFL scouts on Pro day but also also disappointed that a lot of guys decided to skip their last season. I think LSU gets at least 9 wins if everyone plays. I understand Covid and all and top players opting out like Chase who had nothing to prove but for Shelvin, vincent, marshall etc... and the other borderline players to opt out just kind of stings. Especially when they could have improved their draft status and could have helped build on 2019 season.
